Cartenvo Integration Hub

Licence terms

These terms apply to Cartenvo Integration Hub for nopCommerce: the free plugin, and its source code. Last updated 2 November 2026.

On this page

Summary

  • The plugin is free. Install and use it on as many stores as you like, your own or your clients’.
  • The source code is not included. It is available under a separate, paid source code licence.
  • Anyone may build and sell their own software that uses the Hub’s webhooks, API and extension points.
  • You may not resell or redistribute the plugin, or publish its source code.
  • The n8n nodes (n8n-nodes-cartenvo) are a separate, open-source project under the MIT licence.

This summary is for convenience. The sections below are the terms.

What these terms cover

“The plugin” means the Cartenvo Integration Hub plugin for nopCommerce (system name Misc.CartenvoIntegrationHub) as released by Cartenvo in compiled form, such as the ZIP from the nopCommerce marketplace or from cartenvo.com, with its documentation and updates.

“The source code” means the plugin’s source files, project files, tests and build scripts, in Cartenvo’s repository or as delivered to a source code licensee.

Cartenvo makes and owns the plugin and the source code. These terms give you a licence; they don’t sell you either.

Using the free plugin

Without paying, you get a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to:

  • install and use the plugin on any number of nopCommerce stores, including production, staging and development stores;
  • install and set it up for clients, on their stores, as part of paid work;
  • keep copies of the release ZIP to install it on those stores.

The free licence comes with the documentation on this site and best-effort answers to questions by email, but no promise of support or of future releases.

Source code licence

The source code is available only under a source code licence bought from Cartenvo. The order states who the licensee is, the number of developers or stores covered, and the update period. Unless the order says otherwise, a source code licence lets the licensee:

  • read, change and compile the source code;
  • install the changed plugin on the licensee’s own stores and on its clients’ stores;
  • let its employees and contractors work on the source code for those purposes, under these terms;
  • receive updates to the source code during the update period. Versions received keep working afterwards.

A changed plugin is still covered by these terms, and the licensee is responsible for supporting the changes. To buy a source code licence, or for more stores or developers, email us.

Building on the Hub

You may write, use, share and sell your own software that works with the Integration Hub through its webhooks, its sync API or its documented extension interfaces (such as IIntegrationEventSource, IWebhookFilter and IExternalReferenceStore), such as ERP connectors, nopCommerce plugins, apps and automation workflows. That software is yours, as long as it doesn’t include the plugin’s own code. Its users need the plugin, which is free.

What you may not do

  • Sell, rent, sublicense or charge for the plugin itself, changed or unchanged. Charging for your own work installing or setting it up is fine.
  • Offer the plugin for download, or include it in a product, theme, plugin or bundle that you distribute, other than by pointing to Cartenvo’s download.
  • Publish, share or give away the source code, including in public repositories, unless Cartenvo agrees in writing.
  • Decompile or reverse engineer the plugin to get its source code or to make a competing product, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
  • Remove copyright and licence notices, or present the plugin as made by someone else.

Third-party software

nopCommerce is licensed separately by its owner. The plugin works alongside nopCommerce’s official Web API and is not made, supported or endorsed by nopCommerce. Zapier, Make, n8n, Pipedream and other services you connect have their own terms and charges, which are between you and them.

Warranty and liability

We make the plugin carefully, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it is error-free or that it will work with every plugin, theme, configuration, hosting environment or connected system. You decide which systems receive your store’s data. Back up your store and test updates on staging before installing them on a production store.

To the extent the law allows, Cartenvo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, lost data or business interruption. For the free plugin our total liability is limited to 100 US dollars; for a source code licence, to the amount paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. A release is covered by the terms published when it was released; a source code licence by the terms in place when it was bought.
