Who you buy from
Cartenvo Advanced Search is made and licensed by Cartenvo. Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which takes your payment, handles sales tax and issues your receipt. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase itself. These terms cover your licence to use the plugin.
“The plugin” means the Cartenvo Advanced Search plugin for nopCommerce (shown in admin as “Advanced Search & Autocomplete with Algolia”), its documentation, and any updates you receive for it.
What you may do
Each purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- install and use the plugin on one production store: one storefront that customers buy from, running on nopCommerce 4.90;
- install it on staging, testing and development copies of that store, as long as they are not open to customers for sales;
- change its settings, texts and styles for that store;
- have a developer or agency install and configure it for you.
If you build stores for clients, buy one licence for each client’s production store. To use the plugin on another production store, buy another licence.
There is no online activation or domain lock. Your order reference identifies your licence, and you download releases from My purchases using the email address you checked out with.
What you may not do
- Share, sell, sublicense, rent or give away the plugin or any part of it, changed or unchanged.
- Publish its files or source code, including in public repositories, or offer it for download.
- Use it on more production stores than you have licences for.
- Include it in a product, theme or plugin that you distribute or sell to others.
- Remove copyright and licence notices from its files.
Updates and support
For 12 months from your purchase date you can download every release of the plugin for nopCommerce 4.90 that we publish, and email contact@cartenvo.com for product support.
Support covers questions about installing and configuring the plugin and fixing defects in it on a supported setup: nopCommerce 4.90 with an unmodified copy of the plugin. It does not cover theme changes, custom development, problems caused by other plugins or themes, your Algolia account, hosting, or your store’s content and data. We can quote for these separately.
When your update period ends, the version you have keeps working and you can still download the releases published during your update period. Email us if you want to extend updates and support.
We support nopCommerce 4.90 only. A release for a later nopCommerce version is not promised. If we publish one, we will say whether it is included with an active update period.
Refunds
The plugin is digital content that is delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed. Because of this, purchases are not refundable, except where the law or Paddle’s buyer terms give you a right to cancel or to a refund. Where they do, that right applies and nothing in these terms limits it.
Before you buy, please try the panel on the demo store, check the compatibility details, or ask us whether the plugin suits your store.
If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the licence for that purchase ends and its download access stops. Please remove the plugin from your stores. To request a refund that you are entitled to, contact Paddle through the link in your receipt or email us.
Third-party services
nopCommerce is licensed separately by its owner. Algolia is an optional service: if you connect it, your Algolia account, its terms and its charges are between you and Algolia. Cartenvo Advanced Search is not made, supported or endorsed by Algolia.
Warranty and liability
We make the plugin carefully and fix defects covered by product support, but we do not promise that it is error-free or that it will work with every plugin, theme, configuration or hosting environment. Back up your store and test updates on staging before installing them on your production store.
To the extent the law allows, Cartenvo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms in place when you bought a licence apply to that purchase, including its update period.
